The article examines the arguments in favor of extending the idea of developing an individual style of activity under the influence of typological properties of the human nervous system (according to E.A. Klimov) on the style of pedagogical communication of the teacher. Negative aspects and effects of spontaneously generated nonoptimal style of pedagogical communication on the example of "authoritarian" teacher are described. Assumptions about typological characteristics of the nervous system that "pushes" people to the formation of particular style of pedagogical communication are stated.
