The research object of the presented article is the psychological analysis of a phenomenon "tattletelling" in primary school age. The theoretical basis of research is the concept of J.Piaget about levels of children's moral development and about their moral judgments, works of L.S. Vygotsky, D.B. Elkonin, V.V. Davydov, E. Erikson about psychological features of primary school age. The objectmatter of research is a phenomenon of "tattletelling" in primary school (1 and 3 classes of comprehensive schools of Russia and Armenia). The subject of research is moral judgment of primary school students. The methodical toolkit used in experiment is presented by interview, questioning, the technique of moral dilemmas describing six situations of "tattletelling". It is shown that "tattletelling" is caused by historical and sociocultural reasons. This phenomenon possesses age dynamics and is connected with the level of moral development.
