Аннотация

Актуальность. Вопрос о природе магического мышления долгое время оставался дискуссионным в психологии. Классические представления Ж. Пиаже о магическом мышлении как о доминанте дошкольного возраста, исчезающей с взрослением, вступают в противоречие с данными современных исследований. Актуальность работы обусловлена необходимостью пересмотра роли магического мышления в когнитивном развитии и повседневной жизни человека, а также поиском возможностей его практического применения в образовании, коммуникации и рекламе на фоне сохранения магических и суеверных убеждений даже в высокоиндустриальных обществах.

Цель
. Целью работы является анализ феномена магического мышления у детей и взрослых, анализ функций магического мышления и веры в магическое и исследование возможностей практического применения данного феномена.

Методы
. В качестве метода выступил обзор классических и современных исследований феномена магического мышления, включая кросс-культурные сопоставления.

Результаты. Показано, что магическое мышление не исчезает с возрастом, а трансформируется, сосуществуя с рациональными убеждениями. В дошкольном возрасте, несмотря на вербальное отрицание магии, дети демонстрируют реальную веру в нее в практических действиях. У образованных взрослых магическое мышление сохраняется в латентной форме, активизируясь в ситуациях высокой неопределенности или личной значимости (риск для здоровья, жизни). Выделены ключевые функции магического мышления: реализация нереализованных желаний, освобождающая роль фантазии, анимизм как механизм понимания мира, создание смысла и иллюзия контроля. Показано, что включение магических элементов в предлагаемые задания способствует развитию креативности и улучшению различения фантазии и реальности у детей, а у взрослых повышает запоминаемость рекламных брендов.

Выводы
. Магическое мышление является фундаментальной особенностью человеческой психики, сохраняющейся на протяжении всей жизни, и сосуществует с рациональным мышлением. Магическое мышление выполняет множество позитивных функций и может найти практическое применение в психотерапии, образовании, коммерческой рекламе, в медицине, в политике и индустрии развлечений.
